Finding the right lot, and hoping that a second floor living area was going to capture those stunning views, was the challenge for builder Curtis Homes and architect Muddy River Design for a family in the Columbia River Gorge. After two years of searching, they finally realized the home of their dreams. The result was a contemporary, open-concept home, perfect for a growing, active family.
The Perfect Windows
The builder chose Milgard Style Line® Series vinyl windows for their slim frame and because they are available in large sizes, taking advantage of those epic views. Floor-to-ceiling sliding doors with transoms and large format windows provide 180-degree views from the main living areas on the second floor. Inside, the home is filled with abundant natural light. The narrow frame of Style Line Series windows is perfect for the contemporary, modern feel of the home. Casement windows were chosen to allow for maximum ventilation throughout the home.
